The Holm Throw Pillow is hand embroidered with organic materials that provides not only whimsical dimension from the embroidery, but also with the three-dimensional tufted applique. Made from 100% organic cotton, this pillow is an ode to Van Gogh‘s easily-recognizable Post-Impressionism style. Post-Impressionists extended Impressionism while rejecting its limitations. They continued using vivid colors, often thick application of paint and real-life subject matter, but were often emphasizing geometric forms, distorting form for expressive effect and using unnatural or arbitrary colors. Due to their handcrafted nature, each pillow will be slightly unique.
