Made of 100% organic cotton, masterfully block-printed with indigo vegetable dye by fair trade artisans who are preserving the ancient art of Jaipur Block Printing. This form of printing involves stamping lengths of cotton fabric with color using hand-carved wood blocks. Artisans are taught by their parents, who were, in turn, taught by theirs. Each generation working almost exactly as the one before, going back at least 300 years.
