Our Vitral Organic Wool Handmade Rug is an ode to it's namesake - which translates to stained glass in English. Research indicates that some stained glass windows from Canterbury Cathedral may be among the oldest in the world. As per the history of stained glass, our rugs carry centuries-old techniques and an ode to historical cultures.  Whether you're looking to add a splash of color, adorn your Mid-Century or Eclectic home or just want to try something new, this rug will deliver in style. Due to their handcrafted nature, organic dyes and materials, each rug will be slightly unique. New handcrafted rugs will typically shed loose fibers. This is normal and will diminish with regular vacuuming, usually in 3 to 6 months⁣. Vacuum regularly in one direction (not back and forth) using suction only, no bristles or beater bar. Rug pad is recommended. Spot clean only with a dry cloth, consult a professional for more persistent stains.⁣ Loose threads should be trimmed with scissors.⁣
