Pine shavings were chosen as a fill alternative to our previous recycled beads as this improved Pouf is now 100% biodegradable and 100% sustainable. The Pouf now weighs around 4 times more, 30 lbs, so it is substantially more heavy, making the weight capacity 150 lbs, allowing the Pouf to be used for light sitting.

The shell is made from 100% organic cotton the fill is 100% organic pine shavings making it 100% biodegradable and not harmful to the environment. As the Echo Pouf is handmade and organic, we do not use any chemical fixatives or glues to keep the appliques on the base fabric, so loose fibers can get pulled out quite easily. Do not pull the loose threads, cut them. Due to their handcrafted nature, each pouf will be slightly unique.
