Meet Etta, a rug inspired by the delicate beauty of butterflies in flight. Soft neutrals with a flash of color. This butterfly rug is cut to the full shape of its wings and tufted in cream, sand and rich espresso brown, with bright tangerine and turquoise accents. The lower wings carry two turquoise-and-orange eyespots and a band of bold color near the tails. Carved lines trace each vein and marking, so the design has real depth you can see and feel.
We blended 30% wool with 70% Tencel for a rug that’s as soft as it looks. Wool brings warmth, bounce and natural durability, and Tencel adds a silky hand and a gentle sheen. You’ll notice it most in the glowing orange and turquoise details. The earthy palette sits easily in most rooms, and the color pops keep it from feeling plain.
Lay Etta in a bedroom, nursery, living room or reading nook wherever you want a touch of softness and whimsy that still feels refined.
*Each piece is hand woven by skilled artisans, so no two are exactly alike, and every rug carries the small, natural variations of true handcraft.
Accidents happen, especially in high-traffic areas. But worry not! Our rug is easy to clean and maintain. Simply spot clean with a damp cloth or vacuum regularly (in the same direction - no beater bar) to keep it looking fresh and vibrant. Due to their handcrafted nature, each rug will be slightly unique.
